“We commissioned Kristen to make our wedding bands, since we wanted custom ones that weren't off someone's stock. She made us white gold bands that we love! Mine is dainty and was shaped to fit against my engagement ring (difficult shape to craft, since the main stone is inset with the band). My husband's is thicker, with a seam where the metal was shaped. I've been married 2 years and still catch myself looking at my band all the time. My husband (never previously a jewelry guy) comments on his band pretty often, he likes it so much.
At my parents' request, Kristen also made a necklace out of a stone from a family engagement ring for me. This was another completely made-from-scratch mold Kristen created to fit the stones; it turned out beautifully. The way the necklace is set - main diamond combined with a couple of smaller diamonds and sapphires - was gorgeous and perfect!
We wouldn't have gone to anyone else for these projects, and we won't in the future either!”
